A Gift Guide for Him

Gift Guide - Him.jpg

Gifts for guys can be tricky! In my opinion, most guys don’t tend to splurge on themselves when it comes to their wardrobe so I always like to incorporate a few items of clothes and shoes as well as some functional items they can use everyday. Most of the men (okay all) that I buy for generally like the same thing and have the same interests. As you can see, most of the gifts here are tailored to the outdoorsman who likes to hunt, fish and get their hands dirty!

.) If your guy is a dog owner, you can’t go wrong with the Yeti Dog Bowl. This is for the Yeti lover who has almost everything.

.) I love these Guayaberas from Texas Standard. They’re really beautiful and can be dressed up or dressed down. My husband has two of these and I love them!

.) If you need a stocking stuffer or an add on gift, you can never go wrong with a Yeti mug.

.) This field jacket from Tom Beckbe was one of the best gifts I’ve given my husband. The quality is outstanding and it has stood the test of time. If you are looking for a larger gift that they can pull out year after year, I highly recommend this jacket.

.) I really like this King Ranch hanging bag that you can customize with a monogram. I gave this to my husband when we were traveling a lot and going to lots of weddings. This is something that your guy will have forever!

.) This longhorn tie from Paris Texas Apparel company is another timeless staple that won’t break the bank. This would be another great stocking stuffer!

.) If the special guy in your life likes ballcaps, this one from Poncho is really cute. I also really like these from Zilker Belts.

.) A sterling silver money clip, like this one from King Ranch, is a really special gift that your guy will have forever.

.) If you have a man who likes to fish, this fly box that you can personalize is really cool. I also love these handcrafted fishing lures from WSE Lures for the more serious fisherman.

.) You can’t go wrong with a Tom Beckbe hat. Not only will your guy love it, he’ll be majorly impressed by your taste!

.) I got this vest for my husband for our anniversary and he loves it. It’s lightweight, breathable and stretchy. It’s perfect for layering under a coat or wearing alone with a flannel.

.) This watch from Hook and Gaff is designed for the outdoorsman. It’s nice enough to wear to dinner and durable enough to wear in the field.

.) A cast iron skillet like this one from Green Egg is a great gift for the man who loves to grill. Cast irons can last a lifetime and can be used for so much!

.) For the man who loves to grill a good steak or smoke some meat, this meat thermometer is a necessity. Both my brother and husband have this one and I can speak from experience that they grill a mean steak!

.) I love this duck hunt tie from Kevin’s. This is would make any guy want to dress up!

.) A nice gun case like this one is a great gift under $100 that any gun owner would love.

.) Krewe sunglasses are my husbands personal favorite and they last years. I especially love these.

.) A good raincoat is a great gift because it’s often times not the most fun to item to buy yourself. I love this one from Howler Brothers.

.) You can never go wrong with a good pair of slippers! I love these from Barbour and they’re also under $100.

.) I love a man in a flannel! This one is super cute from Poncho and is appropriate for all ages. This would be a great gift for a dad or brother too!

.) Another great stocking stuffer for the man who loves his dog! I love this collar from Over Under that you can personalize.

.) These wildlife prints are inexpensive but a fun gift to frame and hang in an office or game room.

.) Finally, a Yeti for the guy who either doesn’t have one or has a lot but can’t get enough! This size is perfect for road trips, golf carts and so much more. Plus I love that it’s tall enough to fit wine bottles!

For all the other outdoorsman who have it all, here are some of the websites I browse for ideas. Kuiu, Filson, Orvis, Kevin’s.

Happy Shopping and Merry Christmas!
